Day 10: Yokohama

Our time was up in Kyoto, and we weren't sure how to spend the last three days of our trip. We were going to go back in Tokyo, but were having too much trouble finding a room, so instead, we packed our bags and took the train to Yokohama. Yokohama is just south of Tokyo, we can actually see the city from our hotel room. With cheaper rooms, a change of scenery, and a shinkansen terminal right at our feet, it's alright.

We are staying at the Yokohama Prince hotel. It's an okay place. The hotel is big, the tallest building in this part of Yokohama. Our hotel is on the 36th floor, high enough to make your ears pop in the elevator. It has nothing on the Granvia in Kyoto, but it is only 95 bucks a night, and is walking distance from the train station, and a lot of really good restaurants.

We tried to leave early in order to not lose a full day to travel. However, things didn't work out as smoothly as we would have liked, and we didn't get to the hotel until about 3. We spent some time walking around, but didn't actuallyaccomplish much this day. The highlight of this day was an awesome lightning show that we watched from our room.

I put Aren's Canon 70-200mm f/4L usm lens on to try and get a better idea of what buildings we could see off in the distance
